Fia and Phill Richmond founded Children’s Neurobiological Solutions Foundation in 2002 after spending years seeking answers to explain their son Palmer’s undiagnosed neurological condition. They immersed themselves in the research community, becoming advocates for therapies that could ultimately lead to the regeneration of damaged brain tissue. They created CNS Foundation to function as a parent-driven, non-profit research foundation to assist the scientific and medical communities in reaching this goal. While Palmer passed away in October 2014, his love, warmth and affection continue to inspire the Richmonds to nurture and fight for other families facing similar challenges. Now led by the Richmond family’s close friends, Rochette and Matt Dahler, founders of the national early childhood education organization, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool, as the Pediatric Brain Foundation. Their team of dedicated staff remains the same and maintains the goal of bringing the information, hope and cures to families caring for children with neurological disorders, injuries and cancers across the globe.
